HOW TO MAKE YOUR HOUSE SMELL AMAZING!
Hey everyone! Today, I’m diving into one of my favourite home-improvement topics: how to make your house smell absolutely amazing. I love having a home that smells good, so I’m excited to share some of my best tips and tricks with you.

1. Clean House, Fresh Start
The first step to a great-smelling house is keeping it clean. I use my favourite all-purpose spray, Method in Pink Grapefruit. It smells incredible and makes cleaning a joy. When you have a scent you love, cleaning becomes less of a chore.
2. Scented Laundry Products
Laundry products can infuse your home with freshness. You can use Tide Pods, scent boosters and fabric softeners to keep your clothes smelling great. For those who prefer natural options, try wool dryer balls with a few drops of essential oil. Grapefruit oil works wonders!
3. Essential Oils and Diffusers
Essential oils are a game-changer. You need to add a few drops of lemongrass and pine needle oils to the diffuser. Lemongrass gives off a fresh, fruity scent, while pine needle brings a hint of Diwali. Together, they make your home smell clean and inviting.
4. Bathroom Hacks
Bathrooms can have all sorts of smells. Drop a few essential oil drops inside the toilet paper roll for a continuous fresh scent. Also, keep your toilet brush in a holder with a cleaner like Pine-Sol for a fresh-smelling bathroom.
5. Entryway Refresh
No one likes smelly shoes by the door. Spray the insides with dry shampoo to absorb odors. Fresh flowers in the entryway also make a big difference. They not only purify the air but also add a lovely natural scent.
6. Kitchen Clean-Up
A clean sink is key to a fresh-smelling kitchen. One can mix baking soda and essential oils, scrub the sink, and rinse with boiling water.
7. Carpet and Rug Care
Carpets can trap odors. Sprinkle baking soda mixed with essential oils on your rugs, let it sit for 10 minutes, then vacuum. It leaves the entire room smelling clean.
8. Quick Fix: Room Sprays
For a quick refresh, I use linen and room sprays like Lemon Verbena. A few spritzes can instantly make a room smell amazing. You can read more in the blog and can make this at home only.
9. Bath Time Bliss
Add essential oils to your bath for a spa-like experience that also makes your home smell wonderful. Lavender and eucalyptus are my go-to’s.
10. Candles
If all else fails, light a favorite candle. I suggest using a white chocolate-scented candle to make it smell like you have been baking. It’s sweet, warm, and welcoming.
